Susan Trimm, LCSW, ACSW - Impaired fertility is a life crisis with physical, emotional and financial impact. This experience can devastate one’s self-esteem, create tension in the strongest of marriages and strain relationships with family and friends. Developing decision making strategies, learning stress management skills and practicing more effective communication can reduce the impact of fertility.

Susan Trimm, a licensed clinical social worker, is a resource for our ART Fertility Program patients. She has both personal and professional experience in dealing with infertility. She has previous experience as a support group leader with RESOLVE of Orange County, California and is still actively involved with RESOLVE. Ms. Trimm also has experience with pregnancy loss and adoption/donor issues.

Ms. Trimm is a Licensed Certified Social Worker who is Board Certified in Clinical Social Work. She completed her Masters in Social Work at the University of Alabama. Prior to returning to Alabama, she practiced for twelve years in the Los Angeles area.
